Gift of newly-launched milk powder.
NURAL, which began manufacturing children’s nutritional
food products more than 20 years ago, has finally launched
its growing up milk powder called Nugrow Growing Up Milk, a
fully imported milk from New Zealand. To mark the launch,
the first batch of Nugrow 123 and 456 was donated to the
children of Rumah Titian Kasih, a home for single mums and
their children in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur.
The donation was presented to the home by Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Noriah Kasnon on behalf of the manufacturer Nutritek Group.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the home was Rumah Titian Kasih secretary Rozie Affendi.
Rumah Titian Kasih accommodates 40 children aged between one and 17 years.
Most of them have been orphaned at an early age.
Besides the children, there are 24 single mothers under the same roof, along with a few mentally-retarded people who are in need of special attention which Rumah Titian Kasih is able to provide to them.
The kids had fun at the event as they got to take part in some of the activities that was arranged
for them.
The home relies mainly on public donations for its upkeep. Therefore, those interested in giving donations, in kind or cash, can contact Kak Pah at 019645 5769 or visit the home at No. 62 A – 2 Lorong Maran, off Jalan Kuantan, Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur.
